Oct 2022 - Introducing Fred
Our beloved 2013 Ford Transit LWB, was purchased in August 2022. The name "Fred" was chosen for sentimental reasons. We started work on Fred soon after, removing the cargo barrier, cleaning the rear cargo area and sticking on the sound deadening material to the walls & rear wheel arches.
Dec 2022 - Our First Adventure
Our first adventure was only "just down the road" to Harcourt North, where we celebrated NYE with some reminiscing, star gazzing and snacks. Shortly before midnight, I asked Michelle to marry me ...luckily for me, she said "YES!" A very memorable night.
Feb 2023 - Apollo Bay
Our first overnight journey with Fred saw us revisiting a trip we made in a hired van back in 2022 - Apollo Bay. We stayed the first night by lake Colac, spent some time exploring Apollo Bay before hitting the Seafood Festival and watching our mate "Grim Fawkner" perform.
Sep 2023 - The Grampians
We both love the Grampians in south east Victoria, so heading there was a 'no-brainer'. We stayed our first night by Lake Fyans, hiked some trails, saw spectacular views and visited crystal clear Mackenzie falls.
